So, after I saw this tutorial about curling your hair with a flat iron... I decided to give it a try.
It initially took a little getting use to, but I think it turned out alright. What do you think?

So, yesterday I had the day off from work. I had plans to clean up my place, go on a jog through Golden Gate Park, and then go shopping on Haight Street. Instead.... I slept, watched Michael Jackson's "This is it," hung out at Barnes & Noble, and made chocolate-chip cookie dough ( and ate it too). However, I think that it as the kind of day I needed. I have been wanting to watch this movie for a while now, but have just never had the patience to sit down for a couple of hours... but I must say that I really enjoyed it. I thought that this movie allowed you to see Michael as a raw artist who truly was talented. Isn't that why we all loved him in the first place? RIP Michael.

Seeing Orla Kiely's line couldn't make me more excited for the
fall fashion season. Isn't her clothing just lovely?

Fourth of July cupcakes!
Happy Fourth of July! Today has always been one of my favorite holidays... I love the barbecuing, watermelon, the fireworks... It's the epitome of summer in every way. I have been wanting to make these cupcakes for awhile now so I am happy that the 4th was my excuse! Can I just say this frosting is amazing! I may or may not have eaten it for breakfast this morning... not telling.

So here is the story...
Just so you know, I am from Salt Lake City, but I am currently living the great city of San Francisco for the summer! I am truly falling in love with this place in so many ways... especially the food! This was probably the best hamburger of my life. Hands down.

"Poison & Wine" | The Civil Wars
I am so in love with the The Civil Wars, it's not even funny. This might be the most beautiful song I have heard in a long time. If you go here you can download one of their live albums for free!

And it begins...
So, I started my own personal blog about 6 months but failed at keeping it updated... but lately I have been feeling this pull to start 20/20... which doesn't really make any sense, but I am going to do it anyways. Hope that is ok with everyone... because personally I am excited... and if you have a problem with it.... I don't really care. :)
